What we cover in four weeks

Week 1 — One shape, twelve chords: every major chord from one hand shape, and the minors and sevenths that come from it.
Week 2 — Read any chord chart: what the letters mean, sus and add chords, slash chords, inversions.
Week 3 — The number system: move any song into any key.
Week 4 — Rhythm, the left hand, and five notes for your first solo. By the last session you’re doing this without me.

I’ve taught piano my whole life, and this is the first time I’m teaching it live to a group. That’s why it’s eight seats — small on purpose, so I can answer every question you’ve got.

What you get:

Eight live sessions on Webex — 45 minutes of teaching and 15 for your questions, Tuesdays and Fridays so you have a few days to try each thing before the next one

Me, twice a week for a month, answering your questions live

$240 for the month. One-on-one with me was $300 a month for four lessons. This is eight sessions for $240, and the book comes with it.

No refunds, and here’s why. There are eight seats and one month, and a seat that’s paid for and then dropped is one someone else wanted. So all sales are final. If you’re not sure yet, start with the book and join the next round.

What you need. You’ll need a piano or keyboard and a laptop, tablet or phone — Webex runs in a browser, nothing to install. Noon Central is 1pm Eastern, 10am Pacific, and 6pm in the UK. Every session is recorded, and I’ll email you the recording before the next session, so missing one or two won’t set you back. Come live when you can, though — the questions and the back-and-forth only happen live.

The dates. We start Tuesday, November 3 at noon Central, then November 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24 and December 1 — Thanksgiving weekend is off. Enrollment closes Monday, November 2 at 11:59pm Central. Right after you pay you land on a page with your book and the Webex link.
